Mountains

The brightest features of Earth are its mountains.

Why, when we see land that has risen thousands of meters in the air to form mountains, we are filled with such powerful emotions of wonder, respect and sometimes fear?

Why are mountains covered with snow leave us so stunned?

If you look at them for a long time, you will notice that they do not always look so friendly, in fact they look very proud, sometimes even scary.

Then,
Why are they so attracted to us?

Why do many of us decide to live among them and think about when we need to leave, to leave them briefly?

What makes them so inspiring that they are the favorite subject of many artists, painters, writers, photographers?

What makes them so superior to climbing the mountains, and above all their "conquest", is on most of the list of adventure lovers?

Why is it to get to Mount Everest the ultimate dream?
